Sometimes you might not know who your opponent is, however you could know other fixture details, such as the date and time, year group(s) taking part, venue, etc.

In this case you are able to create a fixture containing all details you have while specifying “TBD” (To Be Decided) as an opponent school. You will then be able to change the opponent any time before or after the game has taken place.

Select the Events tab

Select a date and click the Add event button

Specify the start time, select a game and choose pupils gender(s) and year groups.

Select “Inter-schools” as the game type then select “TBD” from the list of opponent schools. Following this, specify the venue (you can also set TBD if you are still not sure where the fixture is going to be held). 

Click Continue.

On the next screen you are able to specify the team. 

If you had created relevant teams before you will be able to select them by clicking the ‘Select Team’ button and make necessary changes as required.

You can also complete a new team for one event. You will need to add students from the right side of the grid to the left.  In this case you will also need to fill out the name of the team. 

If you are in a rush or not sure about the team members, tick “Select team later”.

Click FINISH.

You have successfully created your fixture. This fixture will now appear in your calendar.

The fixture will now be displayed in your calendar and the parents’ calendars, as long as they have signed up to Squad In Touch.

When you know who you will be playing against it is easy to change your opponent. Click on the fixture

Click on the edit button

Then enter the schools details who will be your opponent.

All fixtures will be displayed on your public website

The fixture will also be displayed on your opponent school’s public website too

Fixture details and team sheets without full children’s surnames are also available to view on the public website.
